Cruise Ship Sinking Costa Concordia

I was just channel surfing when I saw a news coverage of a cruise ship sinking with two survivors being interviewed. It was Early Saturday while honeymooners, families were enjoying the cruise when it fatally sank near a small island in Italy called Giglio. The Cruise Ship struck a reef and people were at a loss on what to do.In the interview, they claimed that the crew did not know what to do. They had to rely on each other, people of different languages who somehow understood what each other needed.Chaos ensued and still a lot unaccounted for.

Quite happy today, hubby's got sore eyes so he had to take a week off from work. Doctor's Orders. I'm pretending he's got a deadly disease and poking fun at his red eyes.

Don't forget to wash your hands all the time. Once you scratch those itchy eyes and then touch something. Bacteria could easily pass on.

In other news, How's the start of your 2012 so far? Mine so far is full of laughter, blessings, a better income. Offline life is way so much better since December. Wishing for more the following months and years to come.

A New Year and a New Time

Have you thought how the past year flew by so quickly? What have you done the past year?

When you're young you can't rush enough to mature, to be older so you can do the things you want to do.

Time just goes on and on. You lose people, you get new people to come into your life. You make mistakes, you recover. You hurt people unintentionally or probably even because you just had to. Before you know it, the months are over. Everything's starting over again.

Another year. A new set of months to go on living. Don't forget to appreciate what life brings you. To count your blessings. To try to move on from whatever have happened in the past. To be indifferent to people who have never really cared about you. To never try to judge others as quickly as you do. It may never be easy. Sometimes you can never recover. You try to settle into the everyday you in a place where time has brought you with a trace of a smile and a lot of hope.

There may be a lot of laughter, major disappointments, a river of tears. You can't however stop time unless of course you meet the inevitable.

There are people who you value who will forget how it is to value you. In a busy world. You could get caught up in so many things, love, friendship, career, err Facebook most likely.

I had two lives. The first one was going places, dancing the nights away, losing myself in my dreams and getting drugged in the habit of loving. I may have regretted some but I know that I can never turn back time. So if you had those kind of things, just focus on the jolly good times.

My 2nd life came in the form of a family. You will never know how much you can love till you held your own child in your hands. How you will unselfishly put her needs before you or before anybody else. That's what being a mom is, one of it at least. Some people will never really get it. Being a wife can be the end of the romance but don't make it end if you could. Forgiveness, Respect and thoughtfulness can always bring back the Prince and the Princess of the Fairy Tale back together again. Everything takes a bit of effort even sweet ol' love.

So with this post being dramatic and all. I wish you a Happy 2012 and may you always experience happiness in the little things that life brings.

Dollhouse Project

I've always been fascinated by miniatures. I love all those tiny things. So I got this dollhouse for my daughter. It's pre cut wood pieces you have to build by the numbers. I didn't build it doing the numbers coz it was just too tiring so I build it by starting from the bottom to the walls and the rest followed. It's made of thin plywood. The built one looks like this. Cute right?

What's fun about it is hubby and I painted it. It should have been painted beforehand but I was excited to build it. It's not perfectly painted but we had a fun time talking, laughing while painting it. I wanted sky blue but it was out of stock so I took deft blue. Maybe I'll change the color next year when I feel up to it. This is how it turned out.

Still a lot left to do, I actually made a little cushion, bedsheet, blanket and pillow for the wooden bed. I'll show it to you guys next time.

Have you ever watched those medical shows where you see a person overdose on a drug? How about the huge celebrity who overdosed in real life, I'm sure you know all about that. It is actually more real than you think. In fact ordinary people who are depressed or want to feel less pain load up on prescribed medication till they can no longer think. Be careful with what you take. Some drugs can be addicting so you got to learn how to control your use. Watch out also for people you know who have a tendency to go overboard. Your intervention could save a life.

Pinay Mommies Community - A Funtastic Mom Bloggers Event

I was bit lost in the blogging world, doing my own thing for a little while and just carelessly going into paths unknown. Fortunately I was told by Zowanderer to have my own hosting with Mommy Rubz. It all started from there and I ended up in a Mom Bloggers Group PMC that has made every waking day of my online life a fun day to look forward to. I missed the First meetup but I was determined to attend the 2nd Pinay Mommies Community Event. Caught a bit of the flu the night before, I powered up with meds as I went on my way to Aling Tonya's Seafood Restaurant in Pasay City even If I would just sit in a corner. I just wanted to be there.

It was cool to see all the mommies coming one after the other, see all the writers behind the blogs.Registration started and everyone started to settle down into their seats getting to talk a bit to friends online who share interesting points about blogging, being a parent and earning online.

As mothers, we only want what is best for our children and the sponsors who have been part of this event are truly part of our lives.

Smart Steps has made their products hypoallergenic so we moms don't have to worry about harmful chemicals that can hurt our little one's sensitive skin. A line of baby stuff that can make a mommy worry free were taken home by each blogger which includes a powder and liquid baby detergent, baby Fabric Conditioner, baby bottle cleanser, Holy seat disposable toilet seat cover and sanitizer. We can't forget our beauty regimen of course and leading cosmetics company Avon graciously gave raffle prizes for the mommies to look gorgeous each blogging day.

Ainon has provided 2 strollers which will be given on our charity event and some products were also raffled off.

Drypers gift packs were taken home by lucky moms. The company also gave Libresse products and a gift certificate worth 1000 for Mc Donalds.

Richwell gave away cute toys for the little ones, Grendha raffled off a few shoes which will be delivered according to the winning blogger's size. Goldquest BioTechnologies also gave additional cash to make this event possible.

It was such a funtastic day for all the mom bloggers that day. A talk from PMC founder Ruby Ricafrente has given a speech on how the group started and how it has inspired us to all do more in terms of blogging. A group she has founded who not only shares earning tips but real friendships as well. A Pinay Mommy blogger with a heart, she's always ready for a helping hand, techie blogging tips and a smile. She also announced to anticipate a better future for the group as plans unfold for a fantastic project which is slowly coming into light.

On the left side below is Pehpot Pineda who plays a Major role in the group, sharing tips and tricks of the trade as an Influential blogger with her uncanny wit and passion for blogging.

First Date

We had that yesterday. I told him I don't want to eat at Mc Donalds (my daughter's favorite) so we ate at Shakeys.

Sweetly he led my hand, I asked where we were going.

Hyundai Apple Studio

It was a couple of days bonding with the little girl so I went offline for some time. Yesterday we passed by Hyundai Apple Studio again and decided this time that I try it.

I was surprised when I went inside because it was bigger than I expected, there were a lot of sets you can choose from and even costumes. My daughter immediately went to the vanity mirror lol. It's the cutest. There is one staff at the reception area who's very nice. She's the one who assisted me inside

Mr. Eun Cheol Lee, the studio’s head photographer took the photographs. He was very patient with the three year old. She was having fun at the garden set but she refused to smile when prompted. I can't be a stage mother she's very stubborn. The pic below was just taken from my phone cam so the colors are a bit off but the real one is just fantastic This is her first studio pic so I'm a giggle happy mommy.

What's nice about it is you don't need to pay any membership fee plus you get to choose from probably about 10 shots on what you want to have printed. I ended up buying two prints instead of just one. i wanted to buy them all but of course I can't. Definitely we will come back for more at the Apple Studio.

On cleaning, being a mom and Christmas day

So I did some major general cleaning yesterday and broke my back.
After removing all the clutter, I just found out we don't have a living room.

Did you know that when you become a mommy you could really get injured. Let's put the kids aside a bit for now. Really, I got hit on the eye more than several times and cried about it too. Twenty times poked, probably thirty times kicked, Ten of them accidental hits while trying to save her.

The other day, I was behind her reading a book and she suddenly stood up. BHAM she hit me on my left temple which is still swelling right now. (I cried, she didn't I checked for bumps nothing, she did say sorry mommy so I vent out my rage at the hubby and asked him to buy me Ice cream) Ice cream works better that Ice right?

I will never forget the first few moments of motherhood. Being a first time mom can be overwhelming, I never knew what to do. My little Rain was just so tiny and her skin was just too delicate.

She is a little angel and I felt so much happiness the first time I saw her.. It is true what they say " you would never know how much love you can give till you hold your baby in your arms.". The little princess looking at you with the most adorable eyes or feeling those tiny hands with those cute little fingers curling softly into yours. Uncomparable feelings of fear, love and a never ending joy.

Time flies by so fast, cliche but true. I used to dread shopping because I had to bring a stroller, a bag loaded with baby stuff to make sure she gets all she needs. At around two years old, she loves books and toys but surprisingly at such a young age, she also loves to dress up and accessorize.

Even on her first time trip to the beach, she enjoys choosing what to wear from what I brought.. She never fails to ask if she can just try on hats and necklaces while giving us her sweetest smile.

I do home exercises and she tries to imitate what I do. It's like having my mini exercise buddy at home. She tells me what exercise I should do for the day. She calls my attention when I seem to be spacing out or missing a step, she likes to do the whole exercise get up too. . She also tries to act like she's lifting weights like daddy.

I watch too much of The Doctors. Not because of Travis Stork, (umm yeah maybe a little bit) but for the information I get out of it. New health discoveries, things we all know yet take for granted. It's just fantastic to eat everything in sight when you're young but boy do they hit back big time. Did you know you need to do liver cleansing, colon cleansing and all those sorts of stuff so you can actually be healthier. Admittedly some organs do cleansing on their own but if you don't eat right then it's going to be hard for those organs. Don't care now? Yup, I guess so. Remebering College Days

All I remember from College was going out for Mc Donalds study sessions with my four best friends plus the other one's boyfriend who seems to be part of the group ha ha. We did have some grand times. I used to write our College Plays, where everyone just couldn't stop laughing. ( I did pay them yes, all of them) I guess what's good about studying is you get to learn but you make lifelong friends. Some seem to forget the studying part hence they end up quitting school. That would not end well unless you have the best brains or the most amazing talent. So don't forget this, if you're still in school. 8)

London Bridge and the Chilly Walk

I was told that the time I visited London, it was going to be quite chilly. I didn't believe them. So I went with my mid length black fashionable winter coat. Out to take Westminster Abbey by storm. Being used to a country with the sun hitting you slap on the face I was surprised by the gust of wind that welcomed me. I had to borrow my then friend's jacket and ended up looking like Big Foot, only with long black hair. I would rather look ugly at that time than die from cold.

We decided to hit the shops after resting a bit at the hotel. I searched online, I browsed shops selling ladies thermals ,It was an added expense when even one bottle of water costs an arm and a leg but who am I to fight the climate. It was pretty easy to find these around London. They are everywhere. It took me a long time to choose my thermals but I got there in the end.

My companion was starting to give me freezing looks and annoying glances which didn't bother me one bit. After all, he did have my precious company to keep him sane during the trip. It's part of the tour package.

Anyhow, I did end up with the coolest thermal jacket. I did not compromise on style and I got it at a bargain. For me at least, because he bought it ha ha. Did you know that you can choose the grade of heat you need for thermal wear? I did not know that but I thought it was kind of cool, so you can choose what to wear if it's going to be really really blistering cold or just time to snuggle cold. See, I learn from experience.

I was feeling a bit sexy and creative one day. I decided to cut off my jeans and be all I'm cool off to the Brokeback Mountain look.

Looked at the mirror wearing my white tank top and cutoff jeans. Hah!! I look cool. I just need to get that disheveled just got out of the bed look with pink cheeks and a gorgeous pout.

I'm a Frustrated singer, people get frustrated when I sing

What's your favorite videoke song? What's that song where you know the numbers by heart when somebody forces you to sing where you shyly say no and then later on won't let go of the mike? As for me I can't remember coz they're too many but what I do know is.

I always wanted to sing on stage, a huge stage you know kind of like a popstar. Think Taylor Swift, skirt flowing freely with that gorgeous blonde hair.

Unfortunately I am not gifted with an angelic voice. Let's just say I'm a frustrated singer, people get frustrated when I sing.

So on my birthday I'm gonna go rent a place with that huge stage and ask everyone to sign a contract for a certain fee stating that they will all stand up, clap and shout :"WOO!!!! MORE!! MORE!" with so much gusto it makes me want to cry. Unfortunately I have to pay all of them so If I pay them 1000 bucks each to do the deed then I might have to limit the crowd to two..uhm make that three and they could just do some voice changes so it sounds like there are a lot of people there.

Spoke with Ian who is in charge of the Live Blood Analysis and the explanation of the whole program. I felt apprehensive because it entails eating raw fruits and vegetables for the whole 10 days. Honestly, I don't know if I can stick with it lol. I actually haven't eaten rice for months however I do eat what I want outside of that. So I don't gain yet I don't really lose any weight. So doing the colon cleansing can get me kicked off to a better start. Ian explained the whole process nicely and answered all the questions I needed to know. I did ask if french fries was considered a vegetable ha ha ha.

He gave me a small booklet with a suggestion meal plan or well fruit shakes and vegetables plan to cleanse the body of toxins which could pile up and develop into diseases in the future. There's a big poster of the types of Live blood conditions on the pic above which determines if you have a healthy blood. After all blood runs into your veins so it's actually good to work on it to make it normal.

The blood is magnified I think a million times so it's going to show you really crazy moving cells and stuff in your body. Well, here's mine

Yup there it is on live TV. I've been informed I have a mix of the two not so healthy types of blood.The Normal type of blood is all those blood cells spaced away from each other. See I know I have intimacy issues. I probably ingested a lot of toxins since my teenage years and back. I don't know how I can clear that up. It looked like a bit of a mess there. Nutrition Management at Tree of Life

Part of my First Day Included Ian and Clarice teaching me how to do the fruit and vegetable shakes. Drinking shakes or smoothies without sugar or syrup can make the body absorb the nutrients and vitamins quicker. I do have a blender at home however I don't use it much.

The fruits have to be frozen and better with the seeds like the papaya and watermelon shake.

It surprisingly tasted great and so refreshing. It's exactly what I needed that hot sunny day.

After that, I had a wheatgrass shot. Wheatgrass is a superfood, did you know that? I love wheatgrass with honey. I bought it before but wasn't able to continue. Now I have a whole bottled powder. I also had calamansi shot, talk about all that Vitamin C going into my system. The Malunggay shot is definitely healthy however the taste is not something I would actually like, I think ever lol.

The best one I had is the Mango, Banana, Camote Tops and Romaine Lettuce Smoothie. It was awesome. It was like drinking avocado shake only it does not leave any bitter aftertaste. Kind of cool. I could drink this everyday.

I learned a lot from the discussion, the LBA and learning how to make healthy smoothies which I was not interested in before. This is turning out to be quite a treat. 8)

There is also the measurements taking, getting the weight in lbs, picture taking and leaving a little something a collateral, a small token, picture or etc that is valuable that one can get after the program is over.

Since I got inspired by this, It entered my mind that I should get an online nutrition degree.

Hydrocolonics Session One - Tree of Life

I was asked to go in the room for the Hydro Colonics session by Clarice. It was a small neat room and was asked to lie down for the session. I was actually laughing the whole time before it and talking to the therapist. I didn't feel any hesitation at all to do the procedure. The Colonics Therapist is very friendly and always professional. Answering when spoken to, smiles and laughs at my small attempt at humor.

I did not feel any discomfort from the session. I was asked if I felt any kind of abdominal pain but I felt none. I just had to lie there for 30 minutes while they do what they have to do for the colon cleansing. I was wearing a hospital gown and covered with a white sheet. The air conditioning on. I felt actually pretty comfy.

The above machine is used for the process. I was able to talk to the therapists and asked them about what to eat and what not to. How successful the colon cleansing health management is etc. I heard a lot of fascinating success stories of some of their clients and of course some who have failed because of not maintaining their goal of losing weight. Of course, what goes with this health program is a lot of determination to live a healthy life.

The procedure was over before I knew it. I sometimes talk too much. I had to go to the washroom afterwards. I felt a bit lighter maybe because of the toxins coming out of my body. I took a Probiotic Drink and a soft gel for health balance. I thanked the guys nicely and went home.

At Dinner Time, I did have a headache. You know that feeling when you didn't get enough sleep the previous night because of working on a deadline or just tried finishing watching a movie? That kind of headache ( without any alcohol related content lol) I was advised I might experience headache or dizziness by Ian so I was expecting it. I decided to stay over at my family house for a few days because it's nearer Paranaque. So I took the little girl with me and I leave her there while I go to my session. I don't know how long I can do this because I had to leave hubby home alone lol. I don't know if he will behave. Anyhow, my second session was uneventful. I know what's going to be done so it was automatic.

The journey to good health and longevity really does start with cleansing and detoxing inside our body to a cellular level. The body needs a rest from the constant onslaught of refined foods, meats, chemical & heavy metal exposure, And toxic behaviours.

The session takes 30 minutes and so I got my eyes wandering about. These two pictures posted are on the opposite wall of the bed. I did ask where the warm water goes to flush out the system and Ian pointed out the lower red colored part below.

I was told that our body is not really made to process meat or refined white sugar, white flour etc. This is one of the reasons why we develop cancer, diabetes or any such diseases. Of course for those of us who are not at all vegetarian, it's kind of hard to follow this type of diet. However, as for me I just drank fruit juices last night, salad here and there for today. I don't feel hungry not at all, just a bit of a headache which they did say will cease in a day or two. The headache has ceased and I'm quite happy about that. I got used to taking fruit juices and just vegetables. I also learned to live without coffee. Something I thought I'd never really get to do. I don't feel sluggish or sleepy. I drink wheatgrass with honey in the morning with a banana or an apple.

This time Clarice gave me a few folders with articles on good health. So I was reading it while doing the session. Unfortunately I felt a bit of discomfort today. Nothing too serious, just not the usual. I think I moved the wrong way somehow during the beginning of the session. Anyhow, so I was looking at the articles and I found out about foods that could actually cause you cancer in the long run of course. I looked this up for you at Natural News

Knowing about all these ingredients doesn't mean there is simply a "short list" of foods that should be avoided. You have to vigilant and read labels constantly. Here are the five worst offenders:

Hot dogs: The Cancer Prevention Coalition recommends that children should not eat more than 12 hot dogs per month because of the risk of cancer. If you must have your hot dog fix, look for those without sodium nitrite listed among the ingredients.

Processed meats and bacon: These meats almost always contain the same sodium nitrite found in hot dogs. You can find some without nitrites, but you'll have to look for them in natural grocers or health food stores. Bacon is also high in saturated fat, which contributes to the risk of cancers, including breast cancer. Limiting your consumption of processed meats and saturated fats also benefits the heart.

So I'm guilty of liking all those listed above, It's hard to live in a processed world so to speak right. I think the key here is moderation. Not too much and balance it with fruits and veggies. I'm now starting that more now with the little one. I think as a mommy if you are, you should too. 8) Well, at least we should try right?

My 4th Session is good. No discomfort at all. Five days of drinking smoothies and eating frutis and vegetables along with the colon cleasing. has made me lose 5 pounds. Something I can only achieve after months of dieting and exercising. I felt like being quiet today so I just let the therapists do their job and signal whenever needed for the cleansing.

You can use their facilities like the pool and the exercise machines , just let them know. I'm never a fan of swimming anyhow and I do my exercises at home. Zumba, Hip Hop Abs etc. Did I ever mention that exercise is actually vital not just in making you lose weight but to make sure you develop muscles which is good for old age.

As for me, this has given me a really good view on how to maintain a good healthy lifestyle. More than I've read on books because people who have tried this program have lost weight, cured their diseases or at least made it manageable. I think we all have to be careful with what we put inside of our bodies. Something that's delicious now and again could actually cause our bodies to malfunction in the future. That is the time when we regret eating all those chips, those pork chops dripping in unhealthy oils, fried chicken drenched in white flour and salt.

Losing 5 pounds in a few sessions with proper eating is a big deal for someone who can't lose weight easily. Hopefully from here on I can drop the weight off more quickly. I would like to thank again Awesome.PH for this opportunity.

It took us forever to get there. There were two pick up points and it just took ugh..as I said forever. But hey it was worth it. Taal was on alert level 2 but according to what I read it was actually safe to go. We did not quite notice the Cliffhouse sign so we had to turn around and then we finally got to the place. It was actually more than I expected. 8)

The food was good, prices were reasonable, servers were a nice bunch. The kids had fun roaming around the place. Definitely worth coming back to. 8)

Terrible little thing over here, family death, a week off from exercise, loading up on junk, coffee, sleepless nights.

been a bit crazy, saying funny and freaky stuff plus I can't get that soap opera song out of my head.

It's too hot, seriously I'd like to stuff Me in the freezer if I could fit into it. So I don't eat rice but I ate too much Ice Cream, Iced Tea, Iced Water, Iced Man etc..

Back to Zumba, Turbo Jam, Rockin body, Hip hop abs. I now understand why people resort to taking Bangkok Pills.. It takes months to lose and a week to gain it all back.

But hey, Me not givin up!!!! With all that I read about exercise and how important it is to prevent muscle loss and diseases, I'm hooked. Yeah!! That's the spirit. Maybe when doomsday comes (Hopefully it will not be tomorrow) I already get to explode in tiny little slivers of light instead of cellulite.

The reason why I dragged her was so we could all change into our swimsuits but too bad the water was too cold. She did not enjoy it.

I never thought it was going to be that difficult eating buffet with a two year old. She wanted to go with me each time and she didn't want to eat without mommy. The life of a mother sigh ha ha

View was of course fantastic, been to Sofitel since I was young because my dad (who recently passed away bless his soul) always took me and my cousin there. It was Westin then.

Here's the playground and below near the cool rattan lounge chairs or whatever that is.

We did have a good night's sleep, King Size bed and just the three of us with a view of the pool and the sea. Super duper fun for the little one.

SLIMMING PILLS ~ WARNING

I wanted to warn everyone about purchasing slimming pills. STOP. You can continue reading about my ordeal or you can stop here and google the word "SIBUTRAMINE".

I've always been slim - 90 to 95lbs at 5'1". I could eat whatever I want and maintained a waistline of 24" or 25" even after giving birth to my 2 kids. I was never a sickly person. Never been confined for any ailment at the hospital. In 2003, when I hit age 30, my metabolism slowed down and I noticed that my weight fluctuated from 100 to 110lbs. I couldn't fit in my jeans anymore. Even though I religiously worked out at the gym 5x a week - I couldn't seem to go back to my old size.

I started buying Bangkok Pills. I took it for a month then stopped when I hit my target weight of 95lbs. Every time my weight went up, I would take it again. This went on for a while, and I think I used up 2 & 1/2 packs. Until I started hearing news about people dying of heart failure from taking it - then I finally quit BP. I switched to Xenadrine then to Hydroxycut then Xantrex. Each one always had a side effect. I was so obsessed and wanted to find the ultimate diet pill that allowed me to eat, sleep and get through the day with just the minimum side effects.

In early 2006 I discovered Maggie slimming pills in Glorietta. It did a good job suppressing my appetite. I was still able to eat enough to sustain energy. I was able to sleep fine. No heart palpitations. No dry mouth. I maintained my target weight and size. In all, I thought I found what I was looking for.

Sometime in September of 2006 - I woke up with big black and blue bruises all over my left leg. I couldn't walk. My skin was too warm to the touch. My calf muscle was stiff as a rock and I was swollen behind my knees. As I ran my hand from my inner thigh down my leg, I could feel a network of veins were swelling. I was in extreme pain. I thought I just sprained my leg muscles at the gym so I stopped going for a week. When I was able to walk again I went back to the gym. The bruises faded after awhile but the pain never really left. My muscles and joints were aching most of the time that I just kinda got used to it. There are times when I would literally stop walking and just grab on to something or someone to keep from falling. The pain was excruciating.

I went to see a Hematologist at the Makati Med wondering if I had a blood problem. She did all the tests but everything came out ok. She was however confused by the unusual warmth on my left leg and the swollen veins. She sent me to a Rheumatologist. The Rheumatologist gave me a physical and I was fine. He sent me to do more blood tests. Every kind of blood tests (too long to list). These came out negative. They did a Doppler Ultrasound to see if I might be suffering from Deep Vein Thrombosis. This came out negative. I saw a Neurologist and he did physicals and it was negative. My condition deteriorated.

I migrated to the US in February 2007. By this time I couldn't stand or walk without screaming in pain. I couldn't climb down stairs. I couldn't do all the things I used to do for my family. Things like cooking breakfast for my kids before school, couldn't walk the dog, couldn't drive, couldn't go to work. I put away all my heeled shoes -- couldn't use those anymore. I went to see more doctors here, half a dozen more who ordered all kinds of tests. I had an Electromyogram (EMG) and Nerve Conduction test - negative. I had an MRI -- negative. What's even more confusing was that the pain now spread throughout my body. It seemed as though all my muscles and joints were in pain.

Here's something funny. All throughout my ordeal I kept taking my slimming pills because I worried about my weight. I was unable to work out at the gym so I was diligently taking my pills. I never told any of my doctors that I was taking slimming pills - I didn't think it was related. I thought the whole leg thing was a gym injury of some sort to the nerves and tissues in my leg.

I ran out of my slimming pills supply in June 2007, exactly the time my Orthopedic doctor ordered Physical Therapy for me. I was getting Electromagnetic Impulse Treatments on my leg. I thought that this was curing me of my ailment because I started walking again. I was able to return to the gym. I gradually started mountain hiking once or 2x a month. I was pain free for a half year. But had developed unhealthy eating habits during the time I was sedentary due to my leg pain.

At 115lbs I was desperate to go back to 95lbs. I discovered someone on eBay who sold Zhen Den Shou. She was importing it from the Philippines. So I started buying this in January 2008. And so the vicious cycle began again. I would lose weight, stop the pills, gain weight, get back on the pills. My leg began hurting and once again had difficulty walking. I never once connected it to the pills. Until one day, when I read this article about Zhen Den Shou & Sibutramine: (click here)

I went to Wikipedia to read more about Sibutramine and there it was on the section SIDE EFFECTS. Joint and muscle pain. It also mentions that while Sibutramine is used for treatment of obesity, it also has a weird side effect: paradoxically increases appetite. What a joke, right? I did more reading all over the net and it really opened up my eyes. I will spare you the details on what this drug has done to me internally but I will leave the relevant & significant research upto you. Basically, Sibutramine can be found in most of the diet pills sold on the market today.

I am 35 years old. I have started doing 1hour walks in the morning. I go to the gym 3-4x a week. I drink fruitshakes everyday, get enough protein and sleep on time. I am slimming down gradually and safely. I'm pain free, and I can walk fine I don't take slimming pills anymore. This is not a happy ending, ok? All those toxins I put in my body may have long term effects. They might manifest 5 years or 10 years from now in another form of illness. In all probability, I may have already damaged my system and I deeply regret that. I just thank God that I found out now about how ignorant and reckless I have been. I want to live a long and healthy life with my husband and watch our children grow.

Folks, whether its Zhen Den Shou, Maggie Slimming Pills, Lida DaiDaihua, or whatever pills you are taking or intending to take - follow my advice and RESEARCH the ingredients and side effects carefully. When you do a Google, make sure to put the name of the "Product + Sibutramine" in your search to see if there are any articles related to it. You'll be surprised. Don't believe all the "flowery words" to make you buy the product. Don't take the pills just because thousands of testimonials say it works. YES, you can lose weight but at a PRICE - one you could live to regret later on. As for others who say, "kaya ko to, minor side effect lang yang uhaw and insomnia"... don't say I didn't warn you. Stop before it's too late.

Floor me baby

We used to live on an 18th floor condo unit the size of well, your bathroom most likely. It was small but it was near the city. I got pregnant, married and that was my baby's first home. It was not what you call a good home for the little one because it's away from nature and the flooring was terrible.Home flooring improvement was something we thought about then. It would have helped avoided slight bumps and falls of the little one when she was trying to walk.

Now that she is bigger, a terribly cute two to be exact. We have moved to a quiet neighborhood in a somewhat bigger house than the hole we lived in. The first thing we did was renovate everything. Fortunately there were a lot of home improvement companies around. It was so exciting to choose the right colors for each room. I chose lavander for my daughter's room and dark blue for the Master's bedroom ( no fight over colors there with the hubby) The contractor did everything perfectly, measured everything right and no need to do everything over. It was safe for the little girl and went well with the hubby's taste. Once you actually improve your flooring, you can work from there to the whole motif for the room.

A friend of mine has just enrolled her just turned three daughter at a nearby preschool. I'm thinking of starting my kid early too due to the added school years declared by the Department of Education recently. I'm thinking of Cambridge or Toddler's Unlimited.

As a mom, excited and nervous as I am about my little terribly cute two going to school. I am thinking of what type of kids school shoes she would wear. She has the habit of asking me to remove her shoes after a few hours of having it on. So I do want to get something comfortable that fits her just right and of course something cute to look at too in terms of design.

Here are some tips in buying school shoes:

1. Look for a good make of leather. It may be a bit more expensive but hey it's your little one right. There are good, affordable shoes out there online and on local stores.

2. Check the soles, go for good rubber soles that would make her walk safely whether on tiles, cement or the rough ground. Remember that kids especially toddlers do jump and run around a lot no matter how many times you tell them to slow down.

3. It's always better to take your kid with you when shopping for shoes. Although if you perfectly know her size you can also opt to buy online. If you're at a store, make sure that you check the sides, see if her toes are not curled up in there and there's just ample space for her feet to breathe so she can walk comfortably.

Pounds off for a Laptop 2 months Results.

April has come. Unfortunately I did not lose 10 lbs. I stayed on my 5 lb weight loss. However I'm happy that my partner did. There were three of us but the other one lost interest when she discovered baking lol. So however these are some good things that came about of my Pounds off for a Laptop Project. Still a long way from the 30 lbs but working on it.

1. My favorite, Hubby has lost a bit of his beer belly ( He doesn't even drink beer ha ha) After reading Dr. Phil's book and seeing me exercising like a lunatic. He started doing push ups, running, reading what I'm reading, Buying Men's Health. So hey, Wifey is waiting for him to get those six pack abs. Will be buying him the Iron gym next week. Plus we get to talk about a lot of new health stuff now like what he read or what I saw on TV. Pretty cool.

2. I am not craving rice. I got used to not eating it. Hubby and the little brat has switched to Brown Rice.

3. We always have fruits and vegetables at home. I realize that living healthy can cost more groceries ha ha.

4. Even when eating out. I was at Spiral the other day for breakfast. I ate mostly salads. What a waste of free breakfast buffet ha ha. I did try some chef special and fresh juices.

5. Clothes that used to not fit me fits just right now. I think that's the best part. Bulges are slowly slowly however very slowly thinning out and they are not biting into my waistband any longer. 6. I'm going to try those Radio Frequency deals. Read they're really effective in getting rid of fats that cannot be removed by diet because they're stuck at the epidermis. We'll see how that goes.

7. Turbo Jam now has become easy for me. I exercise 6x a week minimum 30 mins maximum 45. Yesterday we came home late and hubby was amazed that I still have the strength to do Pilates for 40 minutes.

Lucky 7 yes? Well and good.

Now I'm not going to step on the weighing scale for a month. Read that on BoB Greene's Best Life Diet.

Kid's Hair Salon - First Haircut for the Cutie Two

After countless "keep your ponytail on please!" fights with my two year old. I just gave up and decided to have her hair cut. I wanted her to have a nice experience so I took her to Kid's Hair Salon .

These are a whole lot of pictures of my little girl because I'm a doting mom like any other mom.I'm sure you understand 8p. The place was cute, there was a tiny play area where you can pay an hourly rate or for unlimited play time. Staff are not so perky and happy for a Kid's haircut place. I do think they needed more coffee that day. The receptionist seemed bored. The one who cut my daughter's hair didn't say much so the little one was crying all the time (although being strapped on a car with a stranger hovering over her with a big shiny scissor could be the reason) But hey they have Spongebob playing on the LCD Tv and a car for a chair so I'll forgive them.

Had to hold her firmly, she was ready to jump ship or I guess jump car? 8)

Voila!! A little uneven on the right I think it's a bit longer than the left side but I didn't want to drag her back to the chair. She cried too much.

Leap Frog Read Along Sing Along

My Two year kulit old loves this. This was from her Ninang Jamie in Virginia. She loves the DVD and although she doesn't know how to read yet she pretends to read along and sing the lines from the TV screen. It includes 12 books and 1 DVD. The songs are catchy and there are some sort of spelling lessons. I wish it was a bit longer though. Sometimes I had to play it again coz she goes Wa more wa more. 8)

On losing five pounds and having a Weight Loss Buddy

I've been doing the Pounds off for a Laptop or a netbook project. I also dragged a couple of my friends to do the weight loss challenge with me however they provide their own incentive ha ha. So now I am happy to announce that 2 out of 3 have lost weight. The other one is not blogging so I don't know if that affects everything. I do think when you write down things like listing the food you eat and logging in your exercise minutes do help in keeping you on track. I lost 5 lbs yay!! Love is Blinds

I finally convinced and annoyed my hubby into replacing our curtains with blinds.Blinds I do think are more convenient to have at home.They might be more expensive but hey it really makes a simple room look elegant.He did have to put it up there on his own and he almost fell while doing it. Good thing we had some tools handy.Now I get to adjust how much light goes into the room especially if I don't want to see his face lol. Seriously, our room looks so much better and saves me the hassle of doing the laundry. I forced him to be the one in charge of cleaning it ha ha.

I lost 3 lbs yay. Hey not so much won't really notice much of a difference but I do think that shows progress. Staying away from chocolates and mean people makes you lose weight. Is email marketing still alive?

One of the things I greatly regret was when I started out was forgetting to put that subscribe by email option sidebar. In this day and age where Facebook and other social networking tools are too many to choose from, I still believe than having an email newsletter can still boost your readership or increase your sales. Basing it on how I do my daily tasks ( I don't know about your style) I first read my emails. I subscribe to sites or blogs I find fascinating enough to keep me hooked and I know that if they do update something, I get to be one of those who reads it first. So I do believe that letting people have the option to subscribe by email still works and will still increase your page views or improve your business. So I suggest you get someone who's an expert on email marketing or get that email feed option up on your sidebar.

I have always been in touch with my relatives however far away they are. I say thanks to all the creators of social networks. I still get to give advice to my nephews and nieces on even the smallest things. A comment here or there or a tweet there.

One of my nephews asked where to buy medical scrubs so I told him I may only be a Grey's anatomy addict for all I know about nursing uniforms but I do know of an online shop that sells men scrubs. I told him that he can choose from a variety of colors. Advised him to get the slate grey one which is one of their best selling in the men's line. It would be within his budget too for it doesn't cost that much. He can buy stuff on sale for $20.00 or get the regular priced ones at just $40.00.

He was quite thankful because he got to buy a couple more than he thought at this scrub store
He said it was cool that if it doesn't fit him he can have it exchanged. He is now scrub happy. 8)

Do you know your waist to hip ratio? This will determine if you need to lose weight or not.

Grab a tape measure

1. Measure your waist a little bit above your belly button.
2. Measure the widest part of your hips.
3. Divide the waist inches measurement by the one you got for your hips.

Women should have .80 and men .90 ideally. The lower the better. So if you fall short. Might be time to think of exercising because you might be a candidate for heart disease, diabetes etc etc etc...

Well hey, happy now that some of my exploding jeans waistbands fit just right. Still a big momma but hey that shows progress. Even hubby is now working out, still trying to instill in him the benefits of eating more greens. Happy and healthy that's where we should all be.

The good news here is Hubby started reading Dr. Phil's book ha ha. In the morning he started exercising too. He researched some exercises he can do without weights like push ups etc. The 2 year old knows everyday there should be exercise time so I guess that's good so when she grows up she won't be chubby like mommy.As for me, I have a loooong way to go but hopefully I'll get something out of it. 8)

Okay, I tweeted this but I will say it again. I almost died from Turbo Jam ha ha. That was tough, It's like nonstop boxing and jumping for I think 30 minutes. Hubby was watching the video and he went "What? That was just three minutes?." I'm telling you, a lot of jumping happened in those three minutes. So when I did it, five minutes I wanted to give up but I went on because I have a target to meet by April. (the things we do for health and gadgets hay) So at the end of the 30 minutes, my knees hurt and I turned into a rabbit. I'm going to do it again today while munching on my carrots.

Shaun T's Rockin Body

A Hip Hop Abs fanatic, I looked for another Shaun T exercise video and got Rockin Body. I just loved it. You get to do a fantastic workout dancing to fun music. Plus I just like Shaun T's look and expressions. He looks like the kind of guy you want to exercise with everyday. I actually did the first part which was for 15 minutes. Since I promised a minimum 30 minute exercise a day, I continued with the 25 minutes party express one. I want to try Shaun T's Insanity too but will use this one first.

If you are just starting a blog, keep these in mind. Think about a good title for your blog, something unique and catchy that readers might click on to visit. If you are hesitant about getting your own site up and a bit at a loss, sign up for a blogspot account because it's the easiest to navigate and learn.

I do suggest that after a couple of months and you feel like you're into it. Get your own website and justhost it. This is by far the most important one, getting your own hosting will ensure that your contents belong to you. This will avoid deletion of your blog in case you have violated some rules of your free hosting. It will also keep your mind in peace in a few months in case your blog increases it's page rank and that ranking will be yours only. Page rank is determined by how much your traffic is and how many sites link back to you.

If you are at a loss on how to transfer your account, just search for reviews and recommendations of bloggers on where they got their hosting so you can compare rates, space and duration of the fee. Check also regarding the stability of the hosting if it goes offline or is up only most of the time.

So I'm panic buying health books lately. It helps me stay focused. I just finished Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Solution. It was pretty good. It seems like he was really talking to me you know. It's also good for reread and some good points. My favorite was:

If you don't have time for exercise. you probably have time then for heart disease, diabetes, etc...

or something of the sort. I also bought Oprah's book and The Strong woman's guide to Total Health.

I'm learning as I'm trying to lose and I am discovering more about what works. Pretty cool.

On a cold night

I want to live in a place where I need to worry about Patio Heaters where I could settle on the couch with some snuggies.When I lived in Germany, my aunt and I would go out for long walks and then come home and settle in with cups of Japanese green tea. We sometimes drink just there in the kitchen or at the patio where it's cozy. She has speakers connected outside and we listen to sweet music from the 80's. It's so fun to just relax with her after our work as merchandiser for a nearby store. I remember my uncle wanted to also put in a TV there but my aunt said that doesn't seem right anymore. It's all about nature and relaxation, fun barbecues. A tv would not be a good idea.

Too bad I had to leave, I left when winter was starting but it was already a bit chilly. I left at the end of November. Miss living there. In fact I still have my winter coat, a Ralph Lauren I was thinking of selling now but remembering those patio green tea days, I just don't find the heart to do it. I'm still hoping I'd still get to visit them now that they're in Virginia where they have a huge place. .

It's my 9th day on this project. You might think it's easy but it was not the first time I started. So now I only eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Weight is still the same but I do think I'm not that bloated. However I did have a pregnancy scare yesterday. I thought I missed my period and scared my husband to death because we're not planning to have another baby. All I was thinking was I had to give up my diet which I worked so hard on now for a few days. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Got a negative. 8)

Yesterday I asked hubby to buy me a bag of potato chips. He said no, "you can't have potato chips!" I said If I can have potato chips today I would not touch chocolates tomorrow. ( which is today) So he did buy me the chips in exchange for the "chocolate ceasefire" So now I really have lost interest in chocolates because I resolved that I will not eat one even if hubby and the little cupcake are drowning in Twix and M&M's. I opened an Ebay Store a year ago with the money I won from the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. I was at a loss at first, setting it up and what to do. I read up on a few stuff and found out I had to place a logo so it can attract more buyers and increase my credibility. I asked for my friend's and hubby's feedback on what to use. Shall I use a picture of my family? I do not know if that's safe so I scrapped the idea. Shall I use a picture of a place I visited? But I thought that's not really related to what I am selling. I checked out other seller's sites and noticed that those with the best logos did sell more and have received more feedbacks. So I decided I did not want to use a generic logo so I tried to find an affordable logo design around. I found a good one which suits me. My husband also found one before for our business. So now I'm actually quite happy with both. I'm planning to put it up on Facebook so I could expand my client base. I'll be doing that pretty soon.

Germany WIne Tasting

Way back when I stayed in Germany. My aunt's family and I drove to this small city where we could watch the Fireworks and do some wine tasting. I totally forgot the name of the place but there's a small castle which is in view from where we were in front of a river. That shows you I have memory loss. Anyhow when you walk the streets you can take advantage of wine offers and if you love wines you would have loved it there.Funnily while at the bridge near the sellers, a guy came over my side and said he wanted to take a picture with me. He was holding an expensive red wine and a big smile, how could I refuse lol.

So at the site are rows and rows of free wine tasting, some even offers cheese. My Tito Chief bought a couple. A red and a white one. We watched the fireworks, took loads of pictures. We even had pictures of having a toast over the green grass. We then drove home and had a drink. I had a few sips and ended up sleepy after ten minutes. Talk about high level of alcohol tolerance huh.

The Sun is Shining

We sleep in front of a window so the hyperactive tot gets up before she has to. The sunlight just shines like there's no tomorrow. So I thought I'll get something to replace the curtains. It's another excuse to go grocery shopping. So I grabbed me one of those long metal thingy, the one with the numbers. Yeah tape measure or what you call it but I can't reach the top so I got hubby to do it. Looks like he's Made to measure Blinds which was surprising because he's not really good at dyi stuff. He's more of a computer geek. I went off shopping for some blinds plus of course a few other stuff I supposedly need ha ha. I'm a shopaholic.

So I chose pink blinds.It was a good decision to get those blinds as they really made the room look more relaxed. It might be just me but hey the brat likes it. She thinks the plastic is fun to play with. I hope that it would last us a year at least before she decides it's time to break it down or grab a hold of it and swing on it. Now I can adjust the blinds to however much sunlight I need. I love it.

One of the things I did not learn about when I started blogging was immediately getting your own domain. It is important to build a website that reflects your own taste while writing what you want. Staying on a free blogging platform is good at first because you're still getting the feel of it but once you find out that you really want to stick with it. It's better to get your own domain and hosting. I tried to change this blog to my own domain but I lost my page rank so I just reverted to this site.

What's cool is that if you stay in a free hosted blog, page rank is achieved more quickly. It's because of course that a free hosted blog gets more hits automatically. That's one of the advantages plus I am not giving up my blogspot site because it's easy to customize. The design and posting can be done by anyone who knows the basic how tos. In your own site, you need to operate and upload files on your own. It would be difficult at first but you will learn as you go along by searching tutorials on the net. So what you can do if you have the time is get a free site and if you have the time it really would be better to have another site hosted under your own domain. These are my tips if you are just starting out. See yah.

Now this is something I wish I can attend to. Having a brother who is a racing fanatic, I would love to experience the Monaco grandprix hospitality It is fortunate that he works overseas and his company has decided to make this a corporate event. So on May of this year he would be rubbing shoulders with popular sports fans, Hollywood stars and royalties. I think that is just the coolest. Do you know those yacht parties you only see on TV? Well that is one of the activities listed on his itinerary. He actually just sent me an email to gloat over his dream coming true. F1 or not, I would love to go even just for the yacht party.

If I was there, I would love to meet new friends. I can imagine putting on my best clothes. Of course at that time I will be as slim as the movie stars I would be meeting. I would always be in front of the camera, talking about our never ending events to attend to. Talking to the world's top race car drivers and finding out how they deal with the stress and the fame. That would just be awesome. A mommy can dream. 8)

Baguio Vacation

I remember when we went to Baguio, we stayed in this not so expensive hotel but it was just right. It was not much on the outside but boy when you go inside you will see all the rustic furniture that they got there and it just makes you feel totally that you're in vacation mode. The bedroom is unique because it had these huge log beds that you can just lie in and imagine you're in an exotic vacation spot abroad. They got this rustic look in each nook and cranny. Paintings of Old Country homes, lamps made of native materials.What's missing is a fireplace. Trust us to find something we can complain on lol.

We got hungry so we went down to the restaurant and as we expected it. It turned out to be great. There were ceiling fans designed intricately. Plants at each corners. A marvelous view of the park where log benches abound and couples holding hands smiling happily. Having the most delicious dinner coupled with red wine.I wished everyday was this happy. Wearing our jackets and bonnets on a chilly night. We really had so much fun from the interior, the food and the accessibility. Wish we can come back for more.

Eye want to read till I'm 80

So as I said in my previous post ( The Pounds off for a Laptop Project) I have started reading The Ultimate Weight Solution by Dr. Phil Mc Graw. I was reading this line from the book "A rational, healthy internal dialogue would tell you the truth so you can do something about it." Now I like that except hubby said I was squinting while reading. Now for someone who refused to wear glasses since I found out I had astigmatism and that was a decade ago, this is not good news. I do agree that working online at home and being a book lover could have caused my eyesight to turn out this way. I guess I have to search for eye wear now. One of the reasons why I didn't want to wear one is it's so hard to find a frame that would suit my face. I have a long face like the moon's and then I have a jaw of an action star so you can imagine my predicament. I guess old age catches up with you. I still want to read till I'm 80 so I guess I really have to buy one huh.Maybe I'll get lucky and find one that's just right for me.

Since February 12, 2011 I started my Back to Fitness goal.
My nearest goal target is 10 lbs in 2 months.
I will try to post an entry at least once a week to inform you of my progress and bore you to death with my quest to lose weight. (for the millionth time try, don't you laugh you lucky thin person you)
I was going through the first entries of this blog when I was so hyped up on losing weight. I did lose weight because I started at 180 lbs. Lost and then gained some of it back. Now I am blogging about it so it will inspire me to really work on my goal plus I told the hubby that If I lost 30 lbs he would have to buy me a new phone or a laptop.
I think that's enough motivation right?
So these are what I have been doing.

1. No rice
2. 30 minutes workout a day, plan to do it 6x a week. I use Hip hop abs most of the time but I do have other videos and will buy a new one probably today.
3. No junk food ( goodbye potato chips, I am saddened by this and will mourn your loss till this all ends)
4. Reading a book "The Ultimate Weight Solution" by Dr. Phil. I don't care if you don't like him, I like the book
5. Joined My Fitness pal, fun fun
6. Made hubby my Checkpoint guy. I report to him daily if I've been a good girl and exercised.
7. Will blog about the journey ( Arnel Pineda, you're the man)
8. Will avoid going out for a while except for trips with the family. (same eating rules apply when going out)
9. I just measured my waistline, hips etc and found out I need to lose half the weight of Justin Bieber. So I need to lose half of the Bieber.
10.I am telling my family about this so I can really go through it.

I'm doing all of these because of the lap...I mean myself. There. Stay tuned.

( or end up dead) So just to tell you what I've been doing (Not that I think that you'd be interested but since you got on this page, humor me) I joined My Fitness Pal I saw it on Digital Filipino's Facebook page about an article of a guy losing weight using weight loss apps. Now I got curious because since I started again, it must be a good move to join an online club where you all rant about how fa..err chubby you've become, diets and exercises that you did without boring other people. It is actually kind of really cool. It has a Facebook like page where you can post your status, where you can input what you eat and get the calories. An exercise log book which tells you how many calories you've burned. In fact you can even blog about your progress. Logging in what you ate for the day can be good because then you feel really good if you're below your calorie target to lose weight. It even gives you an approximate on how much you'll weight after 5 weeks. On my first day there I already got a lot of friends. So we're all there to support each other. ( Us, weight challenged people) Good start for mommyme. 8)

Starting a business

We were thinking of putting up a business for some time now. Hubby and I thought of course thought it would be cool to have my daughter's name included in the business name somewhat. So hard to think of a name you know. It took some time but we finally figured it out. The next thing that we are now at a loss at how to do is designing a catchy logo. Ugh, believe me we spent hours on the internet trying to get ideas but we somehow do not agree with how it should be. No one is an artist in the family so it's not surprising. After a few hours in forever we both settled on looking for a Logo Design Company that is good but not that expensive. We were choosing from a few, mainly looking for examples and testimonials from previous clients. We chose at least three and sent an email inquiry telling them about how my we came up with the business name, what we were trying to sell and confirming about the rates posted on the site. You might think it's kind of a nuisance I mean why get a logo and all that but I really think that one of the factors in having a successful business apart from marketing is that appeal, something that makes you stick out from all the rest. Don't you agree?

A challenge plays! Tomorrow is another day? Since she has been bad over the last couple of months, she attempts to start again. Rice is her enemy and so again she will have to let go. Her hubby still supports her even if it was always touch and go. She swears this time she can do it. In fact, Dr. Phil is helping her. Well, on the book at least. Crossing her chubby fingers.

My New Year's Resolution is to eat, eat and eat

My New Year's Resolution is to eat, eat and eat.
That's what I told my hubby when he asked me the question.
Ha ha, I said it's easy to do so I'm making an easy resolution for 2011.
I've been a very bad girl this past couple of months. I stopped my usual exercise routine and I did this during the holidays. Now I think I gained 3 pounds.
But I started exercising again and I saw Fat Girl No More's Contest.
Now there's a woman with fierce determination. She has successfully lost weight and documented her journey via blogging.

Here's the question for her contest

What is your weight loss/health and fitness goal for this year and how do you intend to achieve this?

My fitness goal for this year is lose 10 lbs in 6 months. It's a little more than I planned but I want to be realistic about it. I realized that sometimes when I aim for too much too soon. I end up failing.
So I'll go back to my daily exercise routine. If I feel lazy I'll do my five minutes workout ( still love Hip Hop Abs)
I'll cut back on rice again starting today. It's my downfall.
Keep a record of my exercise routine.
Buy Women's Health Monthly again.
Stop cooking for hubby and let him cook his own meals ha ha.. Kidding.
So there, I'll weigh myself again on that scary little weighing scale and track my progress from here on.
Hopefully I'll be able to do this even earlier than I targeted. So there I'm calling all the Angels. 8)

Brother Talk

The other day, I took my daughter to our old home to visit my dad. It's a good thing my brother was there too. We got to talk about a lot of stuff. We talked about his life in Singapore and his new job and everything that came to mind.

During lunch I got to talk to him about my transcription job. I told him that I already quit that one but I still have other means of earning at home. He was surprised when I told him that I got a blog.During lunch I told him about all the things I do, my work online and all the fascinating people I met. I said there was even a time when I was invited to an event to justhost and introduce a product to bloggers. He was really interested and very supportive.

It's awesome because he knows about online work. He said he got a friend who works online too. I told him about the events I was able to go and he said the internet is really full of the good stuff. He said to keep it up and let him know if I do need anything from his end.

It's funny because I really did not think he would really be interested in what I do. He has after all achieved so much considering his age. People are really surprising. Well at least this time surprisingly good. 8)

Singapore Anyone?

Another Birthday

It's my birthday on the 10th of Next month.
I will be uhm 27 (WHAT 27? There goes my hubby laughing)
Okay so I'm 34 ouch. That kinda hurt.
But anyhow since I just quit my transcription job. ( The other long long hours one, I'm still keeping Quicktate)
I plan to eat a lot this year ha ha ha.
I don't know, it's kind of an easier resolution to keep lol.
I will still try my best to do the opposite. 8p
